Luxe is a newer Midtown highrise with luxurious, modern homes.  With 22 stories and 116 homes, these 1 and 2 bedroom condos are larger than most others in the area and range in size from 900 to 2975 square feet. Interior features include stainless steel Bosch appliances, granite countertops, recessed lighting, double vanities in the master bath, 10-12’ ceilings, and more. The large terraces have been strategically placed to provide the ultimate view of the midtown skyline.  Building amenities at Luxe include a sauna, swimming pool with poolside cabanas, outdoor kitchen, and fitness center.

The crowd at Luxe is mature and, well, shall I say flamboyant.    I went to the pool during the peak of summer a few years back and it was “boys town” all the way.   The condo allows dogs throughout almost all of the building and amenities levels.  This coupled with its close proximity to 10th and Piedmont this option is prime for certain types seeking to be close to the action.

Although none of my clients have purchased a unit here, many have looked with me and this building has been a consideration.    The building is financially strong and has not had any foreclosures or shorts sales.    As I have mentioned in my blog many times in the past there is added value being close to the park.    In other cities condo values are compounded based upon their proximity to large parks like Piedmont Park.    In Atlanta this added value is slowly but surely recognized more and more.   With Piedmont’s recent 20+ Acre Addition in the summer of 2011 its prominence to grow.
